This collection consists of photographs from the Farm Crops Department. Most of the photographs are identified and half are dated. Six of the images listed on the original inventory are missing and noted in the updated inventory. The images primarily depict plants such as barnyard grass seedlings, phorium, and fescue undergoing experimentation and land under cultivation by both horse drawn and mechanical farm equipment at the Oregon Experiment Station. Department staff, such as Ritchie Cowan, H.A. Schoth and Dr. Frakes, are also depicted in these photographs.
